How do I pay?

You pay a deposit of £475.00 when you book your video and you have agreed an angle of the video with the director. You pay the final 50% when you have approved your final video.

I have a camcorder – why shouldn’t I just film my own?

Unless you have a professional camera and sound equipment and someone who really knows how to tell your story in two minutes, then you run the risk of portraying your business in the wrong light. After all, what would an unprofessional video say about your business?

Where do you operate from?

Within this price, we will travel to anywhere in Sussex, if you are outside Sussex then please enquire about our travelling rates.

Will my contact information be on my video?

Yes, we will use any logo or information on the video you want.

What if I do not like my final video?

Unfortunately we can not refund your 50% deposit, and if anything you do not like about it cannot be fixed then you will not have to pay the remaining 50%. We will endeavour to fix any areas which may not be satisfactory. All test videos provided to our customers will have the words ‘test video by Sussex Press Agency’ overlaid on it.

How do I receive my final video?

We will provide you with two DVD’s with your video on it as well as a high-quality AVI file which can be used on your website and uploaded to external sites.

The stretched Ford Excursion Limousines were seized by VOSA from a South Wales company which refused to comply with laws which allow them to carry more than eight passengers legally.

In a show of force, and to send the harsh message straight to the industry, the limousines were sent to the world’s biggest crusher in Newport, and will now be sent to China and recycled.

Members of the public are being urged to check the limousine they hire is legal by contacting their local licensing authority. AS the school prom season begins, there are worries that children will be travelling in unsafe and unregistered vehicles.

She was one of the lucky ones as she was discovered by a Policeman and taken to a local Orphanage in Saigon which cared for her and gave Suzanne the name “Thi Hein”.

Three years later, Suzanne was flown to the UK where she settled into her new life with her British family – but she has never been able to forget her roots and has always dreamt of giving back the care and support she received as a baby.

Now, at 41 years old, Suzanne has made the brave decision to sell her house worth half a million pounds, her beauty business and give up her friends and family in the UK to set-up her own orphanage in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Suzanne lives in Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire and is due to open the Allambie Orphanage in November 2010, which will initially care for eight children. She has built a relationship with these children over recent years as she has visited the country several times to support the temporary home these children are in.

A property is now being built especially for Allambie, staff are being found and funds are being sought to make Suzanne’s dream a reality. Her aim is to give these special children the base to achieve a successful life in the real world.

At the end of the war in 1975, many orphans were simply left to fend for themselves on the streets after the Government did not want to fund the orphanages. Many of them are still on the streets and continue to beg for money and food to this day.

This is something Suzanne fears, so she is now setting up links with local businesses to secure training and jobs. All children will receive full-time education and will be encouraged to develop their extra curricular activities – unlike any other orphanage in the country.

Now is the most tense time of Suzanne’s life and emotions are running high each and every day as she realises her whole future is at stake.

The photographs are among a number of others that have been taken during 35 year old Marie Stone’s worldwide travels over the last 20 years from locations including Botswana, New Zealand, South Africa, Japan and China.

Marie, who has lived in Hailsham all her life, is better known for her 17 year career with Madame Tussauds, where her images are used by the sculptors to create the life-size figures that are displayed within the Madam Tussauds attractions worldwide.

The exhibition named ‘Beauty is Within’, which coincides with Marie’s first book of the same name, features the array of images taken of children and families from Kabubbu, Uganda. The Kabubbu community was created and is run by a local charity. Over the last ten years, the Quicken Trust developed the village from nothing and now has a population of many thousands.

Marie took the images of the children to help with the charity’s promotions, and to also capture the amazing natural beauty within the human being for the world to see. 50% of the amount raised from the sales of the images will go direct to the Quicken Trust.

Marie commented; “Being a photographer has a way of reminding me how amazing life is to be living in the moment. It is impossible to overstate the importance of the communication between photographer and subject. This goes far beyond spoken language which is often not available in foreign locations and relies heavily on sympathetic eye-contact and body-language.

She added; “I am not a reportage photographer, nor am I a travel photographer I am here to capture the beauty in this world and not capitalise on the misfortune of others.”
